EDIT by mod Uwe:

Hello everyone, I have the following problem and after hours of reading I still haven't found a satisfactory answer.

I have a two-channel battle mixer that I would like to connect to my Moto M4 audio interface in order to be able to work with Traktor Pro 3. I've read some reports and again and again they only say connect the output of the sound card to the input of the mixer. I need this statement to be a little more detailed.

Motu m4 interface

Four balanced line outputs 6.3 mm jack (line out and monitor)

As well as four unbalanced RCA outputs (Line Auto and Monitor)

Xone 23 mixer has the following inputs

4 x line in stereo cinch and 1x return cinch

Which connections of the two devices do I use to get the best quality and my plan to use it with Traktor as a mixer, I hope you have ideas for me

Best regards

Marc

    Hello,

as I wrote above, pls use english here in the forum, you can use an online translator.

You just go out via RCA (Cinch) 1/2 - 3/4 to the channel line inputs 1/2 -3/4 of your mixer, setup traktor accordingly for use with an external mixer, output deck one to 1/2 and deck 2 to 3/4.

Thank you for the answer, but if I see it correctly, the sound card only has a Cinch output.Or can I also use the monitor output RCA as a line output?

Yes - monitor is just 1/2 so you have on many audio interfaces 1/2 on two physical output pairs, one goes through the pot on front, normally used for monitors. The other output pair is always at full volume and for stuff like yours or many other use cases.

Thanks for the answers, but I understand correctly that now only half of the volume arrives via a channel, so I couldn't really use it or

No 1/2 only means channel 1 and 2, a stereo pair, the second pair is 3/4.
