I'm making a song, verse and chorus consists of 13 Sections, there will be 8 (verse and chorus). How quickly can this be done? Copy 104 times one Section at a time?

Is it possible to name Sections?

Maybe these questions have already been raised, but I couldn’t find them on the forum or on YouTube.

Consider concatenting the Patterns to the length of a whole (or at least half) Verse/Chorus. You end might up with Patterns used only once or twice (Pattern 1 for Verse 1, Pattern 2 for Verse 2), but it’s much more manageable as Sections. You may also use Clips in addition the achieve small variations to Patterns, so you could probably use the same Pattern for all Verses but add some Clips in the final arrangement for breaks, drops and pickups.

I‘m pretty sure you can name Sections.

Thank you ! I realized that it would not be possible to select all Selections; there is no such function. Now we need to combine the patterns.

As I understand it, there is no function for combining patterns either?

Nop, there is no Pattern or Clip merging (no splitting either), you can copy-paste the MIDI/Pattern data around to expand a Pattern length maybe, it's a bit of work but in a project with 3/5 Groups it shouldn't be that bad.

I agree with Ozon, in Maschine's workflow it's not very practical to have Scene/Sections that are only 1 Bar in length.

If those 1 bar Sections you got going on are fills/transitions you better off making the patterns 2x the size and incorporating them inside the Pattern or use Clips for more sporadic small changes. The problem with using Clips for this purpose is that since they are unique if you require any change you would need to re-do all the Clips for the whole song.

Unfortunately not. There are a couple of operations on Patterns missing which would be nice to have… with a bit of routine, you can become quite fast with copy/paste directly on the M+. But I’m not going to pretend it’s ideal or my preferred way of combining patterns…
