Is it worth using Maschine MK3 if I don't intend to use any NI expansions?

I'm thinking of getting an MK3. I like the software and how it structures composition but I have no interest in the Expansions from NI at all.

Is it a bad idea to get an MK3 in that case?

Sure, if you like everything else... I barely use expansions apart from loading Group kits to get some drums going quickly, which I usually replace later. Lots of people don't like/use Expansions.

Just note that getting your own content to be as well tagged and organized as Expansions/Lib is a major PITA if you try to do it manually to tons of content. A big part of the Maschine controller's appeal is how fast you can browse sounds...
