Traktor Kontrol S2 driver on MacOS Catalina

Hi! I am not able to install the Traktor Kontrol S2 driver on my computer. I use MacOS Catalina version 10.15.4. It states that it is incompatible with the system. How should I proceed? Thanks!

Hi @Ian Valentin,

Generally, drivers are not required on more recent macOS systems such as 10.15. You only need to install the Traktor software.

Are you running the mk1 version of the Kontrol S2? If so, unfortunately this is not compatible with macOS 10.15 or higher. More information can be found here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS

This also applies to the Traktor Pro 2 software.

If you are running the S2 mk1 hardware, we would recommend downgrading your OS to 10.14 or earlier. You should then be able to run both the hardware and the Traktor Pro 2 software without issue.
