Guitar Rig7 Issue MacOs M1 Max in Logic

My GUITAR RIG 7 does not appear in my Logic installation on a Mac M1 Max with Monterey 12.7.1.

Astonishing thing is that Guitar Rig 5 appears in demo mode, which should not work on M1.

Does anyone know how to fix this or has a link to a similar question with help?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Did you install the AU? Are you looking for the FX or MFX version?

V5 will be loading using the built in AU Rosetta layer

I am looking in the Audio Unit section for Guitar Rig.

What I see ist Version 5 which actually should not work as I am not running Logic in the Rosetta environment.

I installed all NI PlugIns via Native Access installer

Please check the Logic Plugin Manager to see if Guitar Rig 7 shows up there and maybe do a "Full Audio Unit Reset".

Good but did you actually install the AU when you ran the installer?

Guitar Rig 6/7 did not pass the compatibility scan. I performed a full reset. And during the Guitar 6/7 scan, the attached error message appeared "auvaltool was terminated unexpectedly" and Guitar Rig compatibility scan failed again. The system actually hung up. I have now disabled Guitar Rig, otherwise Logic became completely unusable.

    Does standalone work?

Did you follow the steps describe in this thread?

Thanks Eddi_NI for your fantastic help

I had to delete the Guitar Rig entries in the hidden file folders in the Library section of MacOS. After that, the standalone version and the AU plugin work pretty well in Logic.

I now have the links to the help pages saved in my browser for instant help if I should have the same problem next time when I update my OS.

    Have a wonderful day!
