Traktor pro 3 should be 114 mb but the downloaded demo is 749 mb

Hi, everyone

I'm new to the forum. I hope someone can help me with this.

I've just downloaded the Traktor Pro 3 demo version, which in the website says it has 114 mb, but the link given to me by Native Instruments, downloads a file that has 749 mb.

I don't want to install it because it doesn't make sense to me that from the 114 mb advertised in the website, the download has 749. I'm afraid it could have some kind of malware or whatever it is that makes the big difference in size.

    As long as you're downloading from the link that NI sent in your email you should be OK. I just tested it and the download was the same size at about 750Mb. If you unzip it and check the digital signature you'll see it was signed by Native Instruments GmbH so I can't see anything wrong there. I expect the download size mentioned on the page just needs updating.

    As always though, it's your system so if you're at all unsure maybe contact support for help. Maybe @Jeremy_NI can help, although it's the weekend so support is technically closed.

    Traktor has the bigger size, even the demo, which loads standard Traktor but disengages functions you need to buy the full version for. Don't know why they advertise with the smaller size. Possibly decades ago it was the smaller size and they never updated the number.
