Who can purchase products through the crossgrade option?

Hello, I would like to know if I am eligible to purchase Kontakt full through the crossgrade option since I have several products that are in the specifications, however I did not want to buy the crossgrade license since I do not fully know how it works.

Login to your Native Instruments account that you use as a customer (in case you have a different one for this forum).

Go to the product you want to buy, and you will see instantly if you are eligible for a cross-grade. Not everyone does.

But, if you see a cross-grade option for you, takes it! It is like an extra discount.

Buying a Komplete bundle is usually the best deal IMO , you can always see present price and offers on the My Kopmplete Offers page ! As well as you can compare content and prices on the compare page ! K14 Standard also comes with the full version of Kontakt !

If you buy Upgrade/Update/Crossgrade you need to have Base Product to be able to use it. Good news is products are not "glued" together forever. You may sell individual Upgrade/Update/Crossgrade licence if not needed anymore, but buyer must have Base Product required.

Or you may sell your Base Product, but you need to replace by another Base Product licence to be able to use that Upgrade/Update/Crossgrade.

That's what I'm looking at now. Two years ago I got Kontakt 6, and the current upgrade price for me to K14 is just $150 more than the Kontakt 7 upgrade price. Seems like a no-brainer.

Yeah ! And you get so much more great content at a rather low price compared to the collected price of content. And as you have already noticed then it is especially attractive and economical during the sales !
