Is there a sampler in Komplete where I can take a sample, and have it slice it to my s49?
Brand new to production. Is there a sampler in Komplete where I can take a sample, and have it slice it to my s49?

Welcome to the world of production! When I was diving into music, I found the sampler in Komplete really handy. You can take a sample and easily slice it on your S49. It's a game-changer for adding unique sounds to your tracks. Enjoy the production journey—it's like exploring new beats in the vastness of desert safari dubai.

Is it just called sampler? Do I just add a track, then add the plug in, and look for something sampler?

The sampler in Komplete is called Kontakt.

Reaktor looks too complicated. I just want to load a sample file, have it show we where I can add break points, and those point trigger when I hit a key. Also someone said Kontakt, Kontakt or Kontakt 7, and both just show me all of the sounds I have???? What is the actual sampler that uses samples I make ro get from say Splice. You gotta assume I'm brand new and know nothing, cause I am.

I completely agree , but you initially wrote , quote "Is there a sampler in Komplete" . I myself find Reaktor looking too complicated as you do. So the little I have done with modular synthesis stuff is using Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular which to me is a lot less complicated.
The V.M. base product is absolutely free ! (as well is the Module Designer for personal use) and it runs on both Windows and MAC though I don't know the MAC particulars , but the Sampler I is part of the 'best buy' bundle product that also contains the plugin host modules , namely the "Voltage Modular Core + Electro Drums" (while on sale $50)(IMO then the plugin host ability alone is worth the $50)(and it can host more plugins side by side and chained!). It's entirely possible that Cherry Audio got a free trial in the VM app of the Sampler I but I can not remember. However I do know that you can get a free bundle also containing the VM itself and a stack of modules so that you can try some very basic stuff for free.
The Cherry Audio Documentation collection is here !
P.S. I want to get to know the N.I. Reaktor a lot and the sooner that I get to do that the better since I got literally hundreds of modules for Reaktor. But since I am swamped with stuff to do when I finally get to do it then it won't be for a considerable amount of time so the above is all I can do for you as is ! I like N.I. and the idea or Reaktor so I hope to become a lot better at using Reaktor eventually though I have to confess that learning Reaktor has a rather low priority for me compared !

I messed with Arcade's Beat Elements but, it still didn't give me quite what I wanted, I just want to set points on a sample, set keys to trigger them once.

I can use Logic's built in sampler as well but I thought NI would have something better.

@PhillHarmonix This is the quick and easy way with Kontakt
- Open Kontakt
- Click "Library" so you see all your instrument on the left
- Drag a sample into the empty area on the right
Kontakt will create an instrument for you and spread the samples across the keys. The sample you loaded will be assigned to C3 and will also be spread across the keyboard. You can click the instrument editor icon (spanner at the top left of the newly create instrument in the righthand area) to tweak the start/stop points, mapping zones and all sorts of other stuff.

I don't know Aracade's Beat Elements or Logic's built-in sampler either , but I located this for you if of interest ?
In Kontakt 7 you go File menu : New Instrument : then Wrench icon in new instrument, that will bring you to (see the page linked to) : How to Set Up a Sample to Play in One-Shot Mode in KONTAKT : https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210309925-How-to-Set-Up-a-Sample-to-Play-in-One-Shot-Mode-in-KONTAKT , If you need something else or if this is not good enough then please explain and I will see if I can do better for you !
Also , You can find all the Kontakt stuff manuals here , for other general N.I. Kontakt help then scroll down this page .

Kontact or Kontact 7? I'm so confused lol, sorry.

@PhillHarmonix Kontakt 7
"Kontakt" is the name a brilliant marketing department gave to the version of Kontakt between "Kontakt 5" and "Kontakt 7", but most people say "Kontakt" and mean the latest version :)

Ok lol, let me go try that.

Do you have the full 'Kontakt' paid version or just the free 'Kontakt Player'. The player only plays but does not sample. You may find it best to just use the Sampler in Logic anyway. That should be fine for what you want to do
