Im wanting to purchase Guitar Sunburst Deluxe... it requires other packs.Help

Im wanting to purchase Guitar Sunburst Deluxe. It messages me that this VST pack will not activate unless I have komplete 13 or 14. Does not standard what version Select, Standard, or Ultimate. I have Komplete 14 select. Will this purchase of Guitar Sunburst Deluxe pack work ok for me?

Should not need any Komplete version to purchase this instrument.

The requirements are Kontakt Player or the full version of Kontakt according to the web page below, so I'd have thought it would work as Select contains the Kontakt Player.

Probably needs someone from NI to confirm for sure though.

And Kontakt Player is free - so not even Select is needed.

This instrument can be purchased standalone with no issue.

Ok - makes sense now. This is the upgrade to Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst.

For activation - note the commas - you need one of these already installed:

• Komplete 13 (packages that include the original Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst)
• Komplete 14 (packages that include the original Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst)
• Komplete 12 Ultimate (assuming it too included the original Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst)

Or

• Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst (Standalone)

That original version will need to be part of your NI acct (via one of the above 4 ways) - before this upgrade makes sense and can be activated.

Without any of these - you will have to purchase the "full" version of "Guitar Sunburst Deluxe"

Roger that. Understood. I'll need to be aware of that word upgrade. Odd thing is...I received a $50 voucher to use...but isn't allowed on on discounted items. They're all on a discount right now. Lol. So the voucher is really worth zero.

You are right about the vouchers not being worth much in an actual use situation.

Anyway , if you got Komplete Select then do yourself a favor and then buy yourself an upgrade from Select to Komplete 14 Standard or better on a sale. (you will want an UPGRADE NOT UPDATE) Compared to buying single items you get an incredible amount of stuff for a relatively low price.
