Saving custom fx chains in Maschine+ standalone?

Hey, I'm a lil ashamed to say this, but I haven't got the foggiest idea how to save a sound with all its effects on the M+ standalone.. I know I should RTFM but figured one of you would know? It has to be one of those SHIFT menus somewhere, but I am having a hard time finding it

Can I save the sound with the whole processing chain in place, or do I need to save the whole group?

Thanks

For context - I am working with a vocalist and there is a need to develop a processing chain that is easy to import quickly into any new projects in the future. This chain will have all the settings dialied in and will keep the vocalist happy by always sounding consistent (this guy is a pro and doesnt have patience for rebuilding the chain on every session)

Yes you can. Go to Save like for a Project and the select what you actually want to save. It’s one of the Knobs on the left side AFAIR. Not in front of my M+ right now.

We still need to be able to save FX chain for the group/master busses.

Another reason is that for live performances we probably don't want to save our master FX chain settings in the LOCK STATES. The only way I found to do this is to delete the master FX chain before playing and then reload every effects.

Problem is now I need to reload every effect and redo all the settings!

Add to that the fact that we can't MIDI learn on the M+, I also need to reload the project on my computer, redo the midi mapping and re-reload the project on the M+ 🥲

…or option B would be to allow us to set any pad to SOLO DEFEAT (play even when another pad is set to solo) so we could route all our groups to a pad acting as a master bus, which could now be saved like a sound.

Another advantage of this solution is that we would now have a VU meter for the master bus in the mixer ;-)

If you want to have master fx which arent affected by lock state changes, you need to add them to your project file only after you have already set all your locks. Lock states do not see, and therefore cannot affect, plugins that were added after the locks were created. While this might seem like an issue to some (and certainly, can be annoying if you forget about it), you can use it to your advantage in this situation.
