The kontakt is just greyed out in pro tools.

I had similar issue with my Kontakt 6 when I upgraded to K7.
You can just have both Kontakt 6 and 7 in your projects.
If that is not the problem, then just replace Kontakt 6 tracks with Kontakt 7, but before you do that, make sure you know which samples, libraries and instruments you were using with Kontakt 6, screenshot them, and then replace k6 with k7 and open the exact same instruments from a screenshot.

unfortunatly that doesn’t work. Kontakt 6 is greyed out, i can’t open it.
I updated everything to Apple silicon native from rosetta. Going back and forth is not an option…

It is just like dead tooth.
