Why does the PlayMarker position not match the sound I'm hearing?

I'm running Traktor Pro 3.10.1 on Windows 10.

Audio Device: NI Audio 2 MK2

Audio Device Settings: 44100khz, Process Buffer 96 samples

I've been using Traktor for many years now and I've never had his problem. The PlayMarker (red line) in the track deck does not match the audio I'm hearing. Compared to the audio, the playmarker is about 1/4 to 1/2 of a beat ahead of the sound. So when I hear the kick the PlayMarker is past that point in the waveform. It's not a lot but its really annoying to try and time pressing play as my anticipation of the coming kick after a break doesn't match what I hear.

All of my tracks are beatgridded properly, so that isn't the issue.

I also run the same version of Traktor on my macbook pro and I tested it with the same tracks and this issue does not happen. The playmaker position matches the audio I hear.

Like I said, I've used Traktor for more than 15 years and I've never experienced this before.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I should say, that I've tried different soundcard settings but I've not been able to fix the problem.

What does the output latency display in the audio 2 mk2 control panel say?

Is the delay the same on your speakers as well as headphones?

    Hi,

Thank you for your comment! It seems my speaker amp automatically updated it's firmware overnight, and the latency settings had been changed to default settings not my settings.

Everything is back to normal now.

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!
