Short answer - nope, 7.7 needs a higher OS. Longer answer is here Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS – Native Instruments (native-instruments.com)

What about updates in native access 2 for the kontakt library itself not actually kontakt the engine etc? it’s saying updates are available for various kontakt libraries . Lowfi glow etc …and the kontakt 2 library etc. soul sessions etc
Can I safely update those ? I appreciate any help

I wouldn’t update any vsti’s if it says 2.1 version of it because they wont work on kontakt 7.4.2 player. They also have a thread to downgrade the 2.1 versions so they can work again.. only one that is an issue is Hybridkeys 2.0. NI provides 1.0 and 2.0 versions of certain VST to eliminate the error message that says your Kontakt version is to old.

@Multimeterman You shouldn't update these libraries, it will break compatibility. In case you did it already, you can find older installers here: Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries
