Komplete Audio 1 or 2 as monitor controller?

I’m looking for something to adjust the volume of my studio monitors and also somewhere to connect my headphones to. I want to be able to play audio through both at the same time and control the volume of each separately.

I’m not a musician so I won’t really use the analog inputs much (although I might end up connecting a better microphone) so sound would primarily come from my Mac.

Would the Komplete Audio 1 or 2 do the job? It looks to me like it would. Or do you have any other recommendations?

    Hello,

both will do the job, but the audio 1 should be enough for you and your purpose.

Thanks for confirming! Yeah I see. The only reason I mentioned the 2 is because my speakers have balanced inputs. Hardly important in practice but I do like the connectors better.

I'd go for the 2 just in case I ever want to record a stereo in. Plus the output is on jack sockets rather than those horrible RCA connectors :)
