Is there a way to mark all posts in a category as read?

However, this only works for messages that have the status Notification. In other words, the notifications that you are already actively monitoring.

Then, go to your profile, click "edit profile", then go to your "Notification Preferences" and disable whatever you can. There is no other option, unfortunately.
