How easy is it to use Komplete with Oxygen Pro?

Newbie looking for guidance:

I have an M-Audio Oxygen Pro and am worried that mapping Komplete's VST parameters won't be as native as something like NI's very own hardware. Workflow efficiency is very important to me, so any way to reduce the need to grab my mouse is a plus.

I'm using Logic for my DAW.

Indeed, parameters won't be as "native" as with NI hardware, not by a long shot, yet you can still use your Oxygen Pro in midi mode. Through midi learn you can assign the parameters you want.
