Hi there,

serious problem has just developed with the sustain pedal not working on Komplete Pianos, plus it activates other controls on the plugin.

have configured the pedal on native KK, ctrrl 64, 0, 127 and Gate etc but it won’t work.

any way of solving please?

cheers.

regards,

phill

Go into MIDI settings in Komplete Kontrol, select pedal and try switching between 'Tip' and 'Ring' (from whichever is selected already)

Yup, already tried that, absolutely no difference, also tried swapping for Pedal B port on the back, same deal I’m afraid.

is anyone else here noticing a dramatic change to the sustain pedal? If you YouTube it, others are going through the same pain, I’m wondering if this has been overlooked in the software side?

    Is this using KK3?

Yeah it sounds like they have tried the usual things. I have seen some of the reports of sustain pedal strangeness but I'm sorry (or should I be pleased?) I'm not so far experiencing this. Mine is a M-Audio sustain pedal (plus I have 2 Roland EV-5s), maybe this is affecting pedals from certain manufacturers?

Thanks PoorFellow, you solved it! :-))))))))

Well done! 5 stars rating for you. One of the buttons had a CTRL 64 assigned to it so I deleted it and it now works. I hope this thread now helps others struggling with it.

Thanks Kymela anyhow - appreciate your comments as well, at least you gave it a shot. :-)

    Regards,

    Phill
