My Maschine Studio is detected and even if it weren't plugged in, it'd still be in the list.
Am I missing something, or was I mistaken?
Jumping in the thread a bit late, since I was not in office. MK3 or MK2 keyboards are not handled by Controller Editor. MK2 were handled by the Komplete Kontrol application/plug-in with the NIharwareAgent running in the background. MK3 is handled by the Hardware Connection Service, available to install as soon as you register your keyboard.
My Kontrol S61 MK3 isn't detected either. I'm guessing none of the MK3 keyboards are supported yet?
I guess... odd... There was a Controller Editor update recently... bummer....
Oh, it looks like NI says this software is obsolete now for the MK2 and MK3 keyboards because you can adjust the MIDI settings from the keyboard itself, so thus no need for the software.
I can't post links in this forum but if you search for "I Cannot Edit MIDI Assignments for my KOMPLETE KONTROL Keyboard in Controller Editor" you will find the explanation and what the current solution is.

That's very cool. Thank you!
Still, it would be nice to create templates for things that don't load into KK....
Thanks,
I don't own any MK2 hardware, so it makes sense that I didn't know that.
How do I edit MIDI templates for things not supported by KK on the MK3?
Pretty sure it's not possible yet. Check this thread
