Is there any way which is not downgrading Sonoma? and if i DO need to do that, how to do it?

Z1 is now stated as officially supported in Sonoma. The problem should be in something else (unless the statement is incorrect)

Got message from NI support team, the problem is Sonoma, for sure:

As announced on our website, please note that none of our products are yet supported on Sonoma OSX 14. We are conducting systematic tests with macOS 14 in order to offer full compatibility of our software and hardware products as soon as possible. It is usually best practice to not jump on new operating systems from the start as there is essentially no time for the developers to adjust and for the most part most third party products will be incompatible. For now, I can only recommend you to go back to Ventura 13.

I have exactly the same problem with my Z1 – computer/traktor is not detecting the controller anymore. Controller works on other computers and other audio devices work on mine. So it's not a hardware problem. I also saw that NI posted on their webiste yesterday, that everything should work. But I'm pretty sure that this is incorrect. I asked like 6 other DJs and they all ntold me that it can only be a problem with Sonoma. I will try to find out how to downgrade Sonoma back to the old system. Please leave a comment if you know a better way of solving the problem.

I tried tonight at home, after upgrading to Sonoma 14.1 and it works! Traktor recognized Z1!

Hopefully tomorrow when I'm playing my set at the venue it will work too :)

Did you answer them that it is listed as supported from the 25th October ? Link them this page

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS

Even if now shivani tell us he managed to have it working, giving wrong answers through support is not nice

Are you sure you want to test something like this in a public set 😶?

I hope the venue is not too big and that the people attending are not too aggressive 😉

”hopefully” is not a word that goes well with public performances 😏

Yeah, I also was told by a few colleagues that update with Sonoma 14.1 will fix it. Will try later.
