updating native access?

😊Good day to everyone. so when I try to update my native access, I am given this message. A new version of Native Access could not be installed:  I have tried disableing my fire wall, but that has not fixed the problem. I am told it will update after I restart native access. However, I have tried restarting it after rebooting my computer and everything. I have no such luck. if anyone could possibly help me with this issue, I would be greatful. Thank you very much.

ok thank you so much and do I need to uninstall the version I have installed already first before I try to install the new download? I use windows 11

No, you can just install it over your existing version.

The reason why the updater in Native Access doesn't want to install the update is probably that you're still using the version which had issues with the in-app updater. I can't remember which version of Native Access that was, but, I had these problems as well.

Edit: It was version 3.6.1 which had these issues.
