Hi,

I have the Komplete 1 interface

When recording on audacity I get a very distince break up/distortion of the audio

Can anyone advise me please

How high did you set the Komplete Audio 1 gains? Are the meters on the interface showing clipping (red dot)? Are you using Input 2? In that case, is the selector switch on the right position (Line level/Instrument level)?

Hi

The interface wasn't clipping,

I did try a different USB port which did cure the problem temporarily,

I'm sure that I must need to change something in settings

Check if both usb ports (the one working better and the one causing problems) are set up in the same way (specially “sleep mode”)
