Mikro Mk3 Newbie Velocity Question
I am trying to change velocity on a midi note. I really have studied the manual before posting this:(
I have highlighted the midi note I want to change In Pad mode. Entered Shift + Fixed Velocity and now I am in the 16 Velocities area!
My question is how to adjust the velocity of this note? It is so easy in Ableton but for the life of me I cannot see how to adjust and save the new velocity so I have got as far as the highlighted area on the attachment but cannot seem to figure how to change and save the new velocity!!
so grateful for any help :)

The Shift+Fixed velocity thing is for inputting a note at a determined velocity.
You can change the velocity of an already recorded note in the step sequencer (on the Mikro is the only way to see recorded notes without watching the computer screen, since it has no screens showing the piano roll). Open it, select the note, push the VOLUME[Velocity] button and turn the encoder
Or go in the software, under the piano roll

Hello,
this mode is only for recording notes, so if the note is already recorded you go into step mode, press and hold the note you want to change the velocity then the knob must be set to change velocity as far as I remember (volume). See manual 11.3.2

It’s a manual. You can read it 5 times without noticing things, till it is THE thing you are looking for ☺️

Yes you know I actually printed out the WHOLE thing and put in four binders so that I would not have to bother the forum but I just missed this part. Of course I could have re recorded it but then I would not have learnt anything!!

I like your attitude.
Better go wrong and learn than avoid situations just cause “we don’t know”
