How do I use Audio 8 without Multicore cables

Hi everyone

I have an audio 8 but the multicore cables are broken.

First question, does anyone know where I can buy replacements?

Secondly, is there a way of setting up using other leads on Traktor Scratch Pro (using timed and normal vinyl) with all the functionality you'd get with the cables?

Thanks for your advice

    Hello,

you can use normal RCA cables. Or if you have a friend with a soldering iron, you can buy 7 pin xlr plugs and cables, RCA plugs and he builds it for you, it's really easy.

OK. To switch between phono and line, do you recommend splitting the RCA from the mixer ?

Is there a diagram to follow that could help with getting the same configuration as the multicore cables? Either using RCA and splitters or the 7 pin idea (or both ) ?

    Thanks Uwe

So you would need some y cables to split the TT signal, one goes into the mixer, for normal vinyls, one into the audio 8 and into ttaktor for time code stuff. Them one out from the audio 8 out, from the corresponding channel, into the mixer line in, also the corresponding channel. So 2 RCA stereo y cables, and 2 normal RCA stereo cables.

So for example per side 2 cordial cfy 0,3 ecc and one normal rca stereo cable.

Ohh I see now there are 2 cordial cables with the same name, but only the one with 2 rca plugs to one rca socket is correct - but ever cable like this will work

Here you can follow the audio paths really good https://youtu.be/RV26PLVs6Lo?si=lfGSTu2lQkPlX9xS

This is maybe also interesting, so it depends on what you want to do
