Need help getting started.... Says get the latest update but there's nothing there to get????

You are simply supplying too little information for anyone to to give any meaningful answer other than general info !

If you have a Mk3 then you are very lucky to have received one at all as they are not meant to have been released until some time in October. If so you will have received it early by mistake and whoever sold it should have waited for the official release date given to them by NI so it's on them. The update servers etc are not ready yet.
