X1 Mk3 LED screen not working properly

When i start up my new X1 mk3, the lower left LED screen flickers, as if there is a bad connection inside the unit. It then jumps around between mirroring the upper middle LED screen or the upper left LED sceen. It seems like a hardware issue. The rest of the unit seems to work correctly. Help!

    doesnt seem to be the same problem. mine displays are not flashing. the lower left LED screen seems to be defective

    Then the question is, do you use a computer with an AMD GPU? If so, it may well be the same issue. If not, i don't know. I know for sure that the qml code adresses 5 different screens of 3 different designations (FX, Mode, Deck).

    The only thing i could think of is if there is a single chunk of display memory whose target pixel addresses are segmented to correspond to the different screens. In that case, it may well be a GPU issue.

    I tried powering up the x1 with just the power cord and no usb connected. it goes thru its initial startup. during this process you can still see the glitchy screen. After connecting the usb it still has issues. Check out the video i attached

    no, i have a 2023 macbook pro with an Apple M2 max chip

    Well, i would send it back for repair/replacement.

    Yup, that is what I decided to do. I have another one being shipped out to replace it.

    The lower left display on mine is just dead out of the box, tried connecting to CPU and powering directly and nothing. Have opened a ticket, seems there may be a bad batch (or even worse).

    Yeah, very similar issue as I had. I have already started the return process. Sucks.

    Just received my replacement X1. No issues like with my previous one. Works perfectly. Hopefully not too many others had the same issue!
