Add Banks to User Presets in Komplete Kontrol

Hey,

I´m trying to add Banks to my NKS User Presets, f.e. for XLN Audios Addictive Keys. I can´t see an option for this, any ideas?

Unfortunately it's not possible at the moment, I keep arguing NI should make this possible so add to the pressure. Now we have NKS2, NI should make NKS1 a more open format and give user the tools to author their own banks etc

Thank you for your fast reply. I´m wondering why I can see Banks in some created NKS files I downloaded for third party plugins, f.e. NKS files for Spitfire Audio LABS, i attached two sreenshots. First one shows Spitfires LABS WITH Banks, second one is my created one and NO Banks...

what I´m trying to say is, that it seems to be possible to add banks or am I missing something?

Thanks for your reply, i know this site and I like it. I downloaded a demo NKS for addictive keys, which shows banks, so i dont understand, how they did it and why i´m not able to add banks. or is it deeper scripting within the nks files themselves? if so, i would agree and dont try to do this

It's possible for people with access to developer tools to add them, there are also some hacks, but to the average user it is closed off.

It's deeper knowledge in coding needed or being a developer, the files are binary and need either official tools to edit or a deep understanding of how to decompile and recompile compressed data. I develop the libraries on that site and I have that deeper understanding on how to achieve this and my own tools I developed to do it however that was at the cost of months of work since with out official SDK documentation, you need to know how to use a hex editor and compare hex values between many example test files to see which number in 10 million numbers has changed and what that change means.

Anyone with enough time and patience could figure it out, I did, most don't have that and just prefer to get back to making music.

I understand and that makes things clear! thanks for your help, one more time I don´t understand, why NI makes things unnecessarily complicated...

Some things could certainly be made easier but NKS on a large scale is designed for developers who have coding knowledge to do, it was always designed for developers to incorporate into their plugins and not for users to do, we just pick up the slack where possible because not all devs can/are interested to do it.
