Absynth 5

Hi,

I just discovered that I cannot find Absynth 5 in my Cubase 12 any longer.

I can see it in Native Access - I have also tried to reinstall it.

Data files are in the right places.

Still it does not show up when I click on Add Instrument Track - all the other synths etc do.

Anyone have a tip - I would be grateful.

    Hello,

you maybe have to activate the vst2 plugin with the cubase plugin manager.

    Hi,

In VST Plug-In Manager you will need to open the VST Plug-In path settings, this is achieved by clicking the gear icon on the bottom left. Once the panel opens click the plus sign to open up a new path, on Windows the path is: C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPugins 64 bit. Here you you should find the Absynth .dll's. which you can highlight and add to the path. Absynth can then be added as per any VST plug-in.
