Ni ist currently offloading what they are calling B-Stock even below their normally good prices on Reverb, MK3 for 340, M+ for 700. Putting a dent in the used market and maybe that's also a sign that something new is coming...
(I would go for the purple MK3 currently on Reverb if it was as low as the regular black one)

having the Maschine Jam work in standalone i believe is currently possible with the maschine+, in the sense that the M+ is standalone, whereas in reality theres a computer+OS inside of the M+ which i believe the Mjam communicates with to combine with the M+ to operate in a pseudo standalone mode..
there is a "possible" workaround for getting the mjam to control external midi gear if tethered to maschine+, and a big emphasis on the word "possible" , which at the end of the day would need alot of testing and configuring with Bomes translators and a bome box...
i think the first question that needs to be answered is can the MaschineJam whilst connected to the Maschine+(standalone) be put into Midimode... if this answer is no, then the bomebox will likely be extremely limited, as it would have to operate in the confines of maschine+ standalone mode

Well…clearing the stocks before a new introduction isn’t so unfamiliar for companies…
And people used the same kind of jokes just few months ago when, during the big discounts NI made on Komplete mk2s, someone asked himself “is a new keyboard coming?”
Therefore…your joke is already the second sign of the new advent being close ☺️
The difference here is that Reverb is doing it, not NI directly…even if…thinking it again, even the discounts NI had just last month were quite good: lowest prices ever on Maschine’s plus 12 expansions for free… THIRD SIGN!

My joke wasn't a jab at that last post, its about the overall sentiment... pareidolia I think it's the term.
Someone had already talked about reverb's NI account selling at big discounts a couple of months back. That's a fair point on KK, maybe... IMO if people want to hang on to hope then Matthew out right saying 'stay tuned' is probably more of a sign than anything else going on in the likes of Reverb.com
I'm kind of amazed that the above didn't get quoted 100 times in threads like this one.

In my case, I tried to pretend not having seen the guy behind the dubious decisions made for Komplete Kontrol talking about an eventual new version of Maschine 😶
I prefer having a laugh with my fellows users (until we still can laugh…)

Exactly.
So there "might" be an update to the Maschine SW.
If NI were still investing in Maschine, they would say categorically that an update to Maschine will come, even if they can't predict when exactly, as that depends on the readiness of the SW.
The fact that they are openly admitting that such update is not certain, says it all.
So now we know: NI is no longer investing in Maschine.
There will be no new Maschine controller or standalone. Any updates will be limited to fixes that avoid severe reputational loss for NI and to avoid losing interest in the remaining hardware stock.
It's Ableton and Akai for any new work for me now.

why not push 3 then? That’s what I’d do if I had interest to switch to ableton from Logic. I have 11 suite, even bought a 2nd hand launchpad X and a 2nd hand launch control xl, I don’t know why but it just didn’t stick on me. If I had liked it a push 3 would be the next investment
