Is there anyway to midi map the Sample Pitch Selector in the remix deck?
Not existing. Best option for Slot pitch controller are D2 and S8.
Yeah...it's really odd that mapping is missing... ok thanks...I have 2 Allen Heath K2's I can't add a D2 or S8 just for one knob! LOL
Only qml controllers (and the F1) have the means to adjust Sample Pitch.
Oh yeah.. that's right... I have an F-1 I forgot about that... but it's not a direct mapping... you have to hit shift... then pitch..then click the sample you want to adjust...then reset the controller... so..it's like a 4 step process... but thanks for the reminder
How about using the S8 mapping and then link each slot of C and D to MIdi Knobs?? Like we did on S4 MK3 jog wheel.
Every single cell has it's own command. I think we would need a pretty complicated conditional forest to have only one cell's pitch adjusted when using a midi knob. Well, S8 and D2 have that set up, so the logic should not be too hard to duplicate with sample page plus a modifier to indicated cell 1-4 on that page; combine those to get a value from 0-63 for one MIDI fader/knob to get a cell identifier, use a second MIDI fader/knob to adjust the pitch value.
Using the S8 (or any other qml controller) code as a baseline also has the additional requirement of actually having an S8 connected and the S8 mapping ascociated with the controller. Otherwise the code is dead.
Every single cell has it's command changes approuch to everything. Thanks for looking though!
Sounds like something that gout out of Chat GPT.
