Did you install Native Access or did you download the demo from the homepage?

When you log into your account on https://www.native-instruments.com/ is your purchase of Traktor listed under "products, serials & downloads"? Did you use the same log in information for NativeAccess as for your native-instruments account? Did you add your serial number in NativeAccess?

Did you try the support wizard for account/order and download/installation to get a solution?

Did you try to enter your serial number from your native-instruments account into NativeAccess?

What OS version do you have installed on your Intel Mac? I remember having issue with installing newer Pro 3 versions on Mojave. You may try 3.4 installer or ask NI support for 3.5 Installer if you are running Mojave or older macOS.

bigSur tried 3.4 and 3.5 I think there is a language disconnect with NI as they just keep telling me to do what doesn't work, appreciate you time in responding

the ink was there in native access for the download and it went through all the process but when I opened it up it went back to the demo version, I'm not that computer savvy so I may be doing something wrong. The real problem was they told me to download trakto 2 pro then upgrade it, but later macs and Traktor 2 pro is not compatible

Did you buy the update price (about 50€) from Traktor 2 to Traktor 3? Or did you buy the full price (about 100€)? I'm just guessing, but maybe Traktor 2 needs to be installed to update to Traktor 3 when you paid the update price.. But, I don't know. Maybe @Mark_NI is around and might help you.

But best is you would try to contact support again. https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us

I bought the upgrade as you can't load earlier Traktor programs into Big Sur so not able to load Traktor 2 pro to upgrade I agree maybe the upgrade is only what's there, but now 2 weeks trying to get help from NI sadly the way they handle customer service all on line is really ******

    Best Of Luck.

This Is how NI operates, unfortunately. It's really sad.

Yes, it did not used to be like that, there used to be direct contact but now there are no telephone numbers for support in the USA only in Germany. it's hard to believe that a company with so many good products has such an extremely bad customer service system .

I suppose the only way is to give them constant pressure to "fix" this, not everyone's a tech wizzard.

Ny situation seems that swapping from an older I Mac to a new Mac where you cant download any earlier Traktor programme and therefore not able to just upgrade to Traktor 3. the solution is simple, send me the full traktor 3 programme and i keep asking for this with the same brick wall each time. I've paid for the original Pro then the Pro 2 upgrade and the 3 upgrade so I dont see why the cant offer some decent support and send me what I've paid for.

I appreciate all the responses from everyone on this forum

Have you tried to download the demo version then upgrade from there?

Also what I have experienced on both my DJ laptops & office computer (running win 11) the update from Native Access, was (possibly still) not the correct version, as Traktor kept on crashing no matter what I did.

So what I then figured out was to download the RC release from the beta page without going via Native Access & Traktor worked again.

Not sure but my best guess is that they uploaded an incomplete version.

Also, try Track down version 3.4 & upgrade using the RC from the beta page - give that a shot & let me know if that works for you. I am not so much a MAC technician, I'm a windows support technician.

I'll try assist as best I can if you'd like.

    Let me know.

Tried both Intel and Arm neither will load and open on BIG SUR

Anyone else been down this road?

    @phildinn

If Native Access would seed a wrong version via NativeAccess, they would have found out in the meantime.

The beta and RC versions won't run on your computer until you activated your serial.

Traktor Pro 2 can not be installed via Native Access. It was installed via ServiceCenter.app but this was years ago and it is not present anymore. And ServiceCenter does not work on newer computers.

As you still do not answer the questions precisely, nobody is able to help you. And it seems, you did not use the support link I gave you several times...

Maybe you could share some info about your computer?

Which OS do you use? Big Sur but which release? Which Mac model do you use? Is it ARM, is it Intel?

In some posts you say you installed NativeAcces (NA). Now you say, you can't install Native Access. Is Native Access in your program folder? Is it the right NA version for your CPU/SoC?

A simple google search brought up several solutions for your problem:

Are you using the same log in info for NativeAccess (NA) that you used for your former purchases? Therefore the right NA for your computer has to be installed. ARM for computers with Apple Silicon (M1/M2) and the other version for Intel Macs.

Could also be that your NA data broke and you have to generate new ones. You simply have to delete a folder on your computer and start NA again. This will create a new folder with fresh files and you can log in again.

An xml-file may got corrupted, can be repaired in the same way as above.

Everything is explained in this link.

PLEASE follow these steps and if you have problems with these steps let us know.

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions re my problem of being able to download Traktor 3 pro.

I finally managed to get Native Access to load and after trying many different ways the solution was to download the demo version of Traktor 3 Pro then go into native access where my Traktor 3 pro upgrade was shown with the words "update" by it. Clicking on that finally downloaded the full programme.

So it seems the "update" from Traktor Pro 2 to Traktor Pro 3 is actually the full programme.

Getting help from Native Instruments was sad to say the least, i got much more help on here. Thank You all
