Left Deck Move Knob Goes Backwards Instead of Forward (Traktor S4MK3)

Greetings All,

About a year or so ago I noticed when trying to advance through a track that it would go backwards at whatever interval I had selected. It seems random but if you try to advance 64 beats (with an interval of 16) you might get to 32, then it backs up 16, and so forth.

I originally thought it was a driver issue but I've recently moved back to Mac and the problem persists. Is this mechanical? And is there a fix?

If it's only on one side of the controller i would assume it's a bad signal from that side of the hardware.

It would be good to know if you have any custom mappings and mods installed that could cause it.

If not, then there may be a hardware problem.

True regarding mappings, but it would be a strange mod if it trips only on the left side.

Sorry, no mappings or mods installed. Just the vanilla setup.

Ok try adding a mapping to move the track.

Add In --> Deck Common --> Move --> Move

And override factory mapping for that encoder.
