Kore Player and Ventura
I have a great library that uses the Kore player. I recently upgraded my computer to one running macOS Ventura and I am wondering if it will work with it?

Is your system Intel or Mx?
Even on Mx you may get away with it but you would need Rosetta, why not try and let us know how it goes?

My computer is an M2. I think it has Rosetta so yes I'll try to install it and see what happens.
Thanks for your reply.

Yeah I tried to install it and it failed. I was able to install and run Eastwest's Play which also needs Rosetta so I presume my system already has it.
Looks like I won't be able to use Acoustic Refractions which I really love. 😥

OK what was it that failed?

If it's the system check try this hack I posted ages ago - that was for Kore 2 but with modifications the technique might also work with player. What you need to do is go into the installer package and edit the distribution.dist file to remove the system checks (back it up first) - also you will run into MacOs security as the installer isn't signed for modern Macs so just allow it when asked

Oh ok, I'll try that. It got right through the installation process and at the end said it had encountered an error and that the installation had failed. I have to go out for a bit but will try when I get back.

The installer is asking for the original installation disc and I don't have the iso, just the installer. Do you have a copy of the iso or know where I can get it? Thanks.
