The M+ prices have been dropped already since about July 2021, so for several years, to be more in line with the competitors in the market. So I would not read this as anything indicating a big drop or release at all.

You mean this? Copied directly from the NI shop: "Regular Price 1199,00 € Sale Price 999,00 € You Save 200,00 €" Ahum, the typical online music shops sell the M+ for less than 900 euros for ages already…

Probably you’re right… humm, but they announced it separately and not as part of the ‘summer of sale’. So yes, still 999 I guess.
