Brand new to Machine although comfortable with Komplet Kontrol etc I have just purchased to micro mk3. I have the Rising Crescent expansion in Access and installed etc I rescanned the database in Maschine preferences and it is there. My question is that I cannot find the product in the browser anywhere. Normally I would open up the list of factory instruments and there it would be.

The attached screenshot is NOT MINE it’s where I would like to be but cannot figure out how to get there

thankyou in advance. I really have tried to fix this but brand new to Maschine🙄

Since you say “I would open up the list of factory instruments”, are you aware that in Maschine the big part of an expansion will be seen under Groups and not under Instruments?

It is true that many expansions also have some instruments that will show up under the Instruments tab (now I don’t recall if Rising Crescent does. Maybe not…and that’s why you don’t see it at all), but their main “house” is under the Group tab

Edit: correction: instruments contained in an Expansion will appear in the Sounds tab, not the Instruments

You’re right, I confused the Instruments tab with the Sounds tab. Even when an Expansion contains a multisampled instrument, it will appear under Sounds tab

Usually when you go into Groups tab you’ll see All Groups where in the snapshot you posted you see the Rising Crescent tab, and under you’ll have a list of all the kits from all the expansions. By clicking on All Groups all the icons of the installed Expansions will show up. There you can check if Rising Crescent is appearing or not.

When you select one of the Expansions, the list of all kits contained in the Expansion will appear.

Sorry if I’m telling you things you already know, but like this when you’ll check you will have all the infos

I can confirm that Rising Crescent doesn't appear under Instruments - which I would consider normal, as it's an expansion. It's not shown under Instruments in Native Access either. It's under Expansions.

It's there in Maschine under Projects, Groups, Sounds, Loops and One-shots.

Hi all Sorry for de lay getting back. Well LostInFoundation you were correct, of course. It is there! In my defense I should mention that I am visually handicapped, unable to drive etc. And it didn't help that the thumbnail is missing plus its abbreviated to Rising C lol!

Also thanks to PK for the extra info about one shots etc. Great help for a newbie!

As for the missing thumbnmails I tried Ultimate Outsider - Software Downloads but it did'nt work this time!!

    😁
