    Thanks for the info!

I am on M1 MAX, so maybe that is the issue? I doubt it -I am a Logic user, but I don't know how well the new NI stuff runs, as I cannot even get them to install. I am running Logic in Rosetta mode as well.

The older stuff runs just fine under Rosetta, so the installation fails are very strange.....

Also, NI has full disk access in my security permissions, etc.... I have read literally everything in the Knowledge base on this, and now NI Support seems to not have any more answers. Nothing mysterious here...I bought a new M1 Max Macbook Pro with Monterey pre-installed, and upgraded Monterey from 12.2 to 12.4 before installing Logic and all of my other stuff. There is nothing unusual about this machine - Everything else installed fine, and works just fine under Rosetta

If anyone has any other suggestions or similar issues (Jeremy at NI?) I welcome them and thank you all in advance

Did giving full disk access to Native Access worked for you, as suggested by my colleagues from support ?

    Hi Jeremy-

    Thank you for your reply-

I did that early on, but to no avail. The weird thing is that 30 out of 130 items have indeed installed, but I still consistently get fails on the others...

The latest thing I have tried is to close Logic Pro during installs....heck, I have everything BUT Native Access closed now, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The only other thing that I can possibly think of (and I am sure that I am grasping at straws here) is that I have another instance of Native Access on my old Mac Pro? I have not opened it since this started, as it is just my office computer/backup machine now, but could that be an issue?? Should I uninstall that? As I told Customer Service and Support, if this is simply a Monterey 12.4 issue, or an M1 Max issue, and you guys need more time to achieve compatibility, I get it, and will wait for it. I really love Native Instruments libraries, and am not here to bash you all, just trying to get it to work- Thanks

It's not related to Native access being installed on another computer, there were no similar reports on 12.4 or M1 Max yet. You're already in contact with a Native Access specialist, he should get to the bottom of this. As it's not sure to be 100% Silicon related, I would suggest to continue the conversation in the email until a resolution is found or create a dedicated thread, not to overload this one, if that's cool with you.

That is fine with me Jeremy, and I appreciate your responses.

    Have a great day!

I suspect your problem might be that Rosetta 2 is not installed in your Macbook Pro. That's why you can't get older software to install or open. Doo a Google search for how to manually install it and you will be on your way.

    Hope this helps.

I have Rosetta running on the Macbook Pro, and everything else runs fine under it - Thank you for your response nonetheless

Is it possible to release Reaktor for M1, with a dedicated M1 library for the modules that run on M1??

How would it be supposed to work with non M1 modules compatibility if there is no dedicated M1 library???

If all programming world works as you say - i kill myself immediately. They need to upgrade their soft as we do, they need to upgrade soft libraries, technologies etc… Your are wrong, but I think you are not a programmer, you don’t know anything about this.

I've spent at least $600 on plugins in the past couple of months from Melda, Arturia, and a few smaller companies. Every single purchase was M1 native. I'm not spending another dime on legacy plugins. I am still buying Kontakt instruments, but NI's not going to see me spending any more $$$ on upgrades or new products until they start following the market.

Same here. There are a lot of great alternatives out there that in some instances work/sound even better than what NI offers. Kontakt is the only real sticking point for me but

    Massive - Vital/Serum both native

Guitar Rig - Amplitude 5 is native

The hard ones are Absynth and FM8 are really in a class of their own. FM8 really is the best FM synth out there imo. However Absynth maybe possibly Zebra?

Personally I'm not even looking for 1:1 alternatives, I'm just kind of done with the NI "sound" and enjoy using U-He and Vital for what they bring to the table. Basically Komplete doesn't feel as essential in my setup as it once used to.

    Of course there is alternatives.

But what about recalling old sessions ?

What about using NI stuff on stage, so you need them if you want to play the songs where you use them ?

There's no way you can replace exactly the Reaktor synths with something else. Even Monark (a mini moog emulation) can't be replaced by MiniV from Arturia or Diva from u-he... So Form, Razor, Sparks...

And these are plugins I bought because I like them, so I don't want to abandon them. I just want to use them on a new machine, like any other plugin I bought...
