Hi, does anyone operates M+ with a powerbank. Would like to know which powerbank can do the job. I have one but i'm not sure to use it because it has a dc outlet with 19v and the specs for m+ are 15v.
Hello @lwpweb I believe there's a big thread about that here: Maschine+ Power Bank guide
I'm operating M+ with this one:
This is german brand but this power bank is clever one. Takes a measurement of what current is being drawn and adjusts its operation accordingly - this is not a typical cheap power bank but rather something like a smart battery if you can call it that. Eveything what you need is inside a box (cables, connectors and even charger). I'm using Maschine Plus nearly a year with this device. A great 99 euro thing. Now is more expensive but still great.
See blue arrow. These PD power banks are quite common nowadays. The cable you use must be able to carry PD or it would not work. There is no need to prove to you that it works since it is as said, quite common today. Whatever you do, try at your own risk. Brand of power bank I used is "Baseus". You do not have to buy the same. A reminder to have 65W outs (to be safe, might run on less watts though).
There are tons of users here with power banks...
That thread has tons of people with "experience" confirming "real hardware" that worked for them, not only that but examples, pictures, and exact models to buy with amazon links.... IDK what else you would need to make a purchase.
You just need any power bank with PD above 65W capable of delivering 15V and a PD USB-C cable that asks for those 15V, again it all there explained in the thread.
