Issues with Patterns and clips system

i hate it, when i want to put in a pattern,i got a clip..this is not a good system..

I don't find the easy way to do this

    pls i want clips like a sample,so i can shorten them,cut,not only loops

    It must be great to have the sampler ,and you can move them like clips,and also play them in the middle so you dont have to start always..
