Hi,

Since updating to K14 UCE I've had 3 crashes (its not consistent) - not sure if all related to Kontakt 7. First with Playbox in Logic, then in Kontakt Library2 and today in Choir Omnia Standalone Kontakt. So Ive just updated to the latest Kontakt7 - Just checked in Logics plugin manager and the standalone and plugin versions are different. How does this happen in the first place and how do I fix it please?

Thanks.

    Hi @Sunborn ,

    Thanks for your response.

Im on Mac (Monterey). Latest Logic version. Logic doesn't use VST3 its AU only. As Ive already said " So Ive just updated to the latest Kontakt 7"

No I dont willy nilly move things around so its not that.

I have fixed the problem though Im not sure I understand completely. What I did, for anyone else that comes across this, is simply rescanned that Kontakt plugin within Logic. It DIDNT do anything. Then I just closed Logic, rebooted Computer, Opened Logic and plugin was now at the latest version. Same as the standalone. Happy.

Thankfully the crashes at this point seem to be one offs.

Manually delete all older plugin versions and re-install.

    What are you using? VST3?

What version is the stand alone version?

This is happening because, most probably, at some point in the past you used a different folder for your plugins (or you manually moved the plugin to a sub-folder).
