Is there a way to replace the audio of a track while retaining metadata?
Hi,
I'm using Traktor with my own tracks, and while preparing for a gig, I sometimes have the need to review my track's mix or whatever.
Now, if I already set it up in Traktor, like fixing the grid, add cue points, I couldn't find a way to keep these and use the new audio. Is there a way? Like in Ableton Live, when you drag an audio file to the clip view, it replaces the audio but preserves the warp markers...
Thanks!

- For keep general metadata (artist, title, BPM etc):
Use a tool such as Mp3Tag. Open both files, old and new, choose "copy tag" from the old file and then "paste tag" to the new file.
- For Traktor metadata (cue points etc):
You don't have to do anything, as long as, the new track has exactly the same name as the old one. Those kind of Traktor metadata are kept on external files, not inside your track. :-)
