Right click Context Menu does not display in latest Traktor Pro 3

Hi all,

I’m having (and had since first installing Traktor Pro 3) an odd issue where right clicking on a Playlist doesn’t do anything - no Context Menu appears.

This means I can’t rename the playlist, remove duplicate tracks, clear an old playlist or do whatever other useful things are in that Context Menu.

I’m using a reasonably old MacBook Pro but have upgraded macOS to Monterey and everything else about Traktor Pro works fine. I updated it to the latest version yesterday and still no menu.

Is there a setting/preference I need to enable or some combination of Layout and an edit key somewhere that I’m missing?

Thanks

    Hi @trekkin,

I cannot reproduce this behavior in TP 3.9 at all. Neither have I heard of the issue so far. Let's just wait and see whether a fellow user can contribute...?

    ...and that's not it:

    1. Press control while clicking your mouse
    2. Press control while clicking the track pad
    3. If you have an Apple Magic Mouse you can set up a corner for ‘Secondary Click’ in System Preferences
    4. Press your trackpad with two fingers
    5. Assign a corner of the trackpad to be a right click

    Thanks for checking Mark.

So I’m using either the MacBook Pro inbuilt mouse pad or an Apple brand Bluetooth mouse.

Neither of these have a ‘physical’ right button, but I assume tapping on the right hand side of the mousepad or mouse should trigger the Context Menu…

There is not setting attached to this menu is there?
