My set up only allows me to play from 2 decks on Traktor pro 3 the computer decks but I want to be able to easily switch from them back to either of my turntables please help I have a party tonight
When you press the Deck letter [3] you can switch between live input and Track deck
Or if you use an external mixer I'm sure there you can switch between USB and Phono.
First of all: To use 2 external turntables, you need an audio card with 2 inputs and each one to have a "phono" option (usually a switch Line/Phone).
If you don't have this, and you just connect your turntables to an external mixer and from there to 1 computer input, it is impossible to play on 2 Traktor decks. You can play only at 1 (assuming that all the rest are ok).
If you do have this, then it is only a matter of correct audio routing.
On Traktor, open Preferences and go to Input Routing.
Then on Input Deck A, you choose the first pair of your Audio inputs (where the turntable 1 is plugged) and, on Input Deck B, you choose the second pair of your Audio inputs (where the turntable 2 is plugged)
That's it (...usually)! :-)
