Does anyone know what extra mapping is needed for the Z2's browse knob to function like the browse knob on the Kontrol X1 mk2?

Namely, when the screen goes into browser mode automatically when scrolling with the X1's browse knob.

Try the command 'Only Browser On' in the layout section of the assignment list. Press 'Learn' and turn the browse knob.

It works to open it but changing scroll direction is seen as a repress so changes the view back.

Is there a modifier or something that could account for that?

If you set Interaction Mode to 'Direct' instead of 'Toggle', it should do the trick. Leave 'Override factory mapping' unchecked.

You may want to do the same to the button that loads the track to a deck, but 'Set to value' should be 0 to switch off the 'Only Browser'-view.
