Traktor kontrol s2 Mk3- is possible to record in Mic mode?

i have a Traktor kontrol S2 mk3 with Traktor pro and a MacBook Pro. I have a mic and need to record a radio show where I announce tracks. I have a mic connected to the controller but it does not seem to record the voice that well. (I do turn the channel volume down when I speak). Any advice welcome! Thanks

Yes it is possible to record from Mic.

However, in your post you wrote: "I have a mic connected to the controller but it does not seem to record the voice that well." This is a very different story and it depends on many things. For example, how good is your Mic.

Hi- thanks for the reply. I have tried two different mics (dynamic with pop filter) but the voice records very quiet. I have played with the gain and different mic poisitiobs. Is there some sort of setting I should consider? Thanks!

Specific Mic settings inside Traktor? Nope.

But you may use one of Traktor FX (such as Reverb) or use Traktor's EQ knobs.

Or you can use an external pre-amp, or something like that
