Script Error problems with phrase playback in Middle East VST

Hi there,

I am not able to play several phrases in the Oud, Saz 1-3 in the Spotlight Collection Middle East VST. I get a SCRIPT WARNING (Line: 95, Script: 21: play_note: Faulty time parameter [41] passed!

I've reinstalled several times.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks, it seems this problem is specific to certain platforms, it can't be reproduced on Intel Macs but definitely on M1 Macs.

We still need some time to investigate, but rest assured we'll provide an update as soon as we can.

this is strange, I'm not getting this error. Does this happen in standalone or in a host?

Hi there Nicki,

It's happening in both standalone and host environments. With 5 instruments in Oud and most (but not all) of the Saz. Seems to happen on the 4th 'note' of the phrase. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the VST several times. The error refers to a script 2. I donlt know anything about scripting, and I guess it's allIP anyway so I don;t want to mess around with that.

Any possibility of sending be a link to a 'fresh' download for just Middle East?

Hi there Trei,

I seemed to have found a work around, at least for Middle East library.

In the Options tab, when I turn Pitch Bend to Off, Aftertouch to Off, make sure it's in Polyphonic AND change key mode to Mapped, I can at least preview all the sample phrases, and switch them between tempos, modes and scales!

I'm still getting the Error and I can't be 100% sure it's sounding as the author intended, but I can sync with the DAW and sample them live.

It means Pitch / Aftertouch are off (in my version they are both set to the same .st rate, which might be part of the issue) but I do all that in the DAW with the midi anyway.

Still working on India :)

in the meantime we were able to reproduce the issue but are still investigating the root cause.

Could you please let me know what OS you're on and in the case of OS X, which processor?
