The next decade will see the return of emotion in musical production.

Those forgotten days and feelings about what we are and what we do in reflection to the World we are apart of will flow again.

The revolution will not be televised, but musicalised.

    Cheers

I think over the next ten years a division will develop in music between “packaged, generic X Factor music” written purely for profit with no regard for originality (including AI written music) and “Real music”, written for its own sake by people writing just for the love of it. With streaming platforms the “Real” music will be able to spread without the need for the millions pumped into the current generic rubbish. This will also hopefully lead to a change in the way streaming platforms pay musicians allowing them to make a living through streaming.

The technology is making the music production more accessible with so much content on how to produce, mix and master not even mentioning the business part as the artists get more knowledgeable of this aspect. I see it expanding and getting more diverse in the market.

The Ai is already making a huge impact on the music industry with so much possibilities that appears like fantasy. I believe it will push the producers to be better and genuine.

We are all going to be replaced by an AI and only vocaloids will be remembered. Those of us who survive in our man caves will be regarded as crazy.

The next 10 years will bring more AI integration. A time will come where everyone who has an idea can bring it to life without a need for formal training. For those who wish to continue using a more hands on creative workflow, whether using live instruments, or sequencing midi, have access to AI tools designed to handle the more tedious aspects of music production, to buy more time for the creative aspects.

Music will become increasingly easy to create, but I don't believe humans will become obsolete, as there is infinite supply and demand for novelty.

The music world is going where the human soul, human hearing, and human imagination will take it. If it A.I. assists in borrowing from the past then the new sounds will come in the future with new twists and unexpected and exciting sounds to enjoy. Likely not from a company owned studio, but from a private home studio - hopefully my bedroom! 😵 Not due to THAT! It's because my studio equipment is in my bedroom 🎼. Silly you. 😉

I love concerts where musicians play their instruments with live and with passion. 🙂

The overwhelming quantity of music titles under 3 minutes today with the upcoming flood of AI generated music might change the digital comsumption via streaming services in a way like napster caused a disruption back in the days. If streaming providers that started to give musicians a platform use their own ai-created content to divert money into their own pockets, both consumers and artists need to think about supporting this provider.

I guess that something iconic like "Tubular Bells" or a contemporary progressive rock album (The raven that refused to sing) resides in a niche at spottify and co. (if at all) , but live in a different musivers.

Audiophiles will continue to have a focus on individual artists and songs they like for the hard work, the soul and the heart that they put into their songs. And if musicians do not get paid by streaming services in a respectful way, they might turn away from streaming services and find something new (bandcamp?).

AI will help artists to make good music better, so I am confident that I can enjoy good music for a long time.

Many things will change in the next years, but I am looking forward to the next concert this year. 🙂

I think we can all say that AI is where the music world is going. Yes, well still have hardware and people making music but 100% AI is going to play a big part in this industry for sure.

As one of the first companies to implement stems, I think NI will soon announce their own version of stems. Traktor, with the help of AI will revolutionize, once again, dance music.

I believe that there will be AI musicians and music and humans making music living along side the AI. I can see that it could also be a useful tool for trying out songs and ideas re pitching AI versions of artists with our music, making it easy for Artists to listen to what a track is like with there voice on it as way of auditioning tracks.

I think that music will be back to their roots, no robots or AI will replace the human creativity. Like now, new plugins will help us to be faster or more creative, but our soul will be in every part of music.
