Compatibility

I am thinking of getting a new Mac Studio M2. I contacted six software companies to check compatibility with my existing software, they all got back to me within a couple of days except NI. I sent them a follow up message quoting the ticket number requesting they get back to me as soon as possible as I am also interested in updating my Komplete 13 Ultimate to 14 Ultimate whilst their sale is on.

I need to know when I open Access on my new machine will all my existing Komplete 13 Ultimate software be there ready to install and if I update to 14 Ultimate will all my Komplete 13 stil be there as well.

Sorry this is a bit long but I do not want to make any expensive mistakes.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

It’s a yes and yes.

The products registered under your account will always be available for you, no matter if you use a new computer. They are bounded to your account.

If you buy also K14, you will find all the products in your account. For 2 reasons: first if you don’t sell/ask for a license transfer for k13 it will always be registered in your account. Second (and maybe even more important) K14 contains all the products that were in K13 plus the additions for the 14 bundle.

Only thing to mention: if you use an offer like update/upgrade from 13 to 14, you’ll have to keep 13 registered otherwise the base product for the 14 update/upgrade will be missing

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I will keep 13 registered to me I presume I can just install 14 Ultimate as a clean install without having to install 13 Ultimate first.
