Hello I have read and seen all videos on it ans still cannot figure this out. I have a pattern with a beat. Basically a group of sounds that create the beat in one group. in another group I add a complete song with no drums. Matching both the song and the pattern rhythm is impossible. I already tried converting the song into an audio clip but it starts slightly to the right and can see this in the piano roll. Both have same tempo but what I cannot do is align the beats . Close to nightmare and quite difficult to use Maschine plus in this. In the software I can drag the audio and align it to the beats quite easy. But I don’t have a computer

It would be helpful if you told us which song the vocals are from. Songs are not always a single fixed tempo, especially if they're pre-drum machine, pre-click track or pre-DAW. Maschine will play at a constant tempo, so I can only assume the original track does not have a constant tempo. The easiest way to fix this IMO is to warp the original in Ableton Live, then extract the vocal stem from the warped version. Live has recently improved auto-warp so you should get usable results without much effort.

Ok thanks, maybe I’m asking the wrong questions.
Do you use Maschine plus? What is your workflow when trying to sample songs and mixing them ? Maybe there is were the issue is, appreciate.
