I've purchased a few products from NI (Piano colors, kontakt 7) - I am now considering purchasing the komplete kontrol s88 bundle that comes with the Komplete 14 collectors edition. Now, since I don't have a prior komplete 14 - will this still work? It looks like the version that comes with this bundle is an upgrade. I wasn't sure if I needed to buy the komplete kontrol s88 separately from the komplete 14 collectors edition. I see that when you buy the komplete kontrol s88 by itself it looks like komplete 14 standard comes with it - so I was sure if I would end up getting komplete 14 standard with the keyboard and then would be able to use the upgrade that comes with the bundle? Anyone have any information on this?

Probably it is working as you stated except for one thing: the keyboard usually comes with K14 Select, not Standard. But then the included upgrade will allow you to upgrade from Select to Collectors

I would add, that recently (and perhaps even now) S88 came with K14 Standard instead of K14 Select.

So, maybe the Upgrade is Standard -> Ultimate CE. One could guess it from price between S88 and S88 with K14UCE. And anyway, there is no upgrade from Select to Ultimace CE available, one would have to do it in two steps...
