Problems with Kontakt 7, no sounds ?

Yesterday i downloaded Native Access 2 [ M1 ] and logged in its the only thing Ive downloaded from this site nothing else.

I downloaded kontakt 7 player from within the app and it installed fine although vst3 says error inside of Fl Studio 20 but AU works fine.

In the app i tried to download The Factory Selection but it comes up with a message saying this " REQUIRES KONTAKT - Kontakt factory selections requires at least kontakt version 5 to run. Currently no viable version of kontakt is installed to use kontakt factory selections. click install to begin installation of both latest viable version of kontakt (6.7.1) and kontakt factory selection.

So why do i get this message when i have kontakt 7 player installed ? can i not use factory selections in kontakt 7 ?

And how do i access Factory selections 2 with the new updated gui for libraries such as bands ?

Im on a macbook m1 air and using fl studio 20 and the latest logic pro

Where is guitar rig 6 and why cant i install factory selections ?

Am I correct supposing you have these programs because of Komplete Start free bundle?

In any case: did you install kontakt 6 player 6.7.1? factory selection 1.4.2 is its library.

For Guitar Rig 6 (player), you can have it from this page:

Hi I haven't downloaded the new komplete start the free bundle. Does that include the updated gui for band and other libraries ?

( I had the free version of kontakt years ago on my old mac but i have new mac now and thought id try free version of kontakt again after a good couple years of not using it )

I didn't install kontakt 6 as i don't want it. I was hoping id be able to use kontakt 7 to play factory selections with new guis ?

Its weird why i cant install the factory sounds in kontakt 7. I only want it for the stock bass guitar.

To access factory selection 2 the new ones with the new guis do i have to download komplete start ?

All ive downloaded so far is the native access 2 app for mac m1 and then signed in and downloaded kontakt 7 and its just blank when i load it in a daw as it wont let me install factory selections.

Literally only want it for the stock bass guitar they have in there.

I’m trying to understand why when NA put your Kontakt 7 player in NA it didn’t put also the library, but at the moment I can’t find any info. If I have news, I will post them👍🏼

The problem Im having is factory selections wont download even though i have kontakt 7 installed

But i havent downlaoded komplete start or guitar rig 6 or any of the new free software

If you have installed Kontakt Factory Selection, it shoould show as just Kontakt in the new browser of Kontakt 7:

Hi mate all its showing is this

I have installed kontakt 7 which is just shows as a player. I then try to install factory selections and it constantly says this.

In Pic 3 you can see it Kontakt 7 player says installed but is shown as a player and the last pic is the constant problem i have when trying to download factory selections

Any suggestions ?

And to add to this i don't use rosetta 2 and will not use rosetta 2 all my other vsts are native to apple silicon. I see a big thread thats a problem with people having installation problems and just getting native instruments to work on apple silicon.

A littler background.

I messaged prior to this to your support and asked will it work i was instructed and sent link by Isti to download Native Access 2 which i did.

After signing in with my account which Ive had for years

I then went to look for Kontakt 7 player free and download it it installed fine [although vts.3 doesn't work]

Then after this i went to download factory selections and was plagued by that pop up every time i try to install it.

So Kontakt is basically useless to me at the moment

@Rock Beats So, if Kontakt Player 7 is already instaaled, what happens if you choose "Only install this product"? I'm not aware of M1/Silicon compatibility issues. Since you're in contact with our specialists I suggest to get back to them.

The issue with apple silicon is i this post here thats on the native community site its titled " For users facing issues with installing Native Access 3.3.0 on M1 Macs "

Yes Im in contact with support via email. Its still not been solved. It takes days and days between emails. I only want Kontakt for the stock sounds it seems more difficult than its worth

Quick question if i download komplete start which is like 6gb does that come with new updated guis for the stock libraries like band etc..

I don't know how you access those ( The libraries with the new updated gui )

Sorry but I don't really understand what you mean by "these libraries with the new updated gui".

About the community link you mention, 1. it's a bit old, we're now at 3.4.0 and 2. There are issues for some users but a tiny fraction of the overall users so it can't be called a compatibility issue.
