How do you close an instrument in Reaktor 6 so there is nothing displaying in the Reaktor 6 window?

File -> New ensemble or New rack.

I wonder why you need an empty window though.

If you are in an ens with more than one instrument and want to test some others.

Go in the struction mark this instrument and press the delete button on your keyboard.

Or a right click on the instrument and choice in the context menue: delete.

Cheers, I wanted to reset Reaktor 6 to it's default state before backing up the C drive, but after opening a new rack and then closing Reaktor, I see that Reaktor opens with a random instrument. So I guess that's it's default state.

    So that it is:

Save an empty ensemble beneath the Reaktor 6 program file, in the same path, please. It must have the name New.

The same you can realize with New Rack (NSKR file)

    C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Reaktor 6

To create an empty Reaktor ensemble click on New Ensemble in the Reaktor file menue in standalone.
